Meme turned the big 7-0 this year, so we had a little family party to celebrate. With the kids getting older, it's not often that we can all get together. We almost did it, but Brian Jr. had to work.

We did burgers/dogs and had streamers and balloons. It wasn't anything crazy, but it was a good time. The kids were a little wild with the squirt guns which turned into buckets. I'm glad I stayed away from that area. Jacob had a blast. He came home with a scratch on his arm which he said he got from "running around with his cousins". He really enjoys hanging out with them because they are all older. He loves trying to keep up with them all.

We gave Meme a group picture of the grandkids. She had mentioned that she wished she had one, so we secretly got it all together and made it happen. We also did a collage of everyone on the playscape. That was a fun because there were a few different poses of everyone being pretty casual. It was a really hot day when we took the pictures, but everything came out nice.

It was good to get everyone together to celebrate the day.
