Liz invited everyone down for the annual celebration of Steven and Jordan's birthday. It was a beautiful day - bright and sunny, but nice and breezy. Now that they are older, it's less like a birthday party and more like just a party. They really celebrate the occasion with their friends now.

There was a fun table set up for the kids. The idea started as a little something to do, but Jordan kept adding to it until it was full fledged craft area. They had a lot of fun making visors and getting their faces painted by Stevie. Jake got a baseball, but Madison never really got turned onto the idea of letting someone paint on her.

The young had a lot of fun with Madison's play house. Jake was really excited when he saw it and ran straight for it. Madison was worried he was after her, so she ran into the house and closed the door. That didn't stop Jake, because he just headed for the door and went in. Jake also had a lot of fun with Danie playing on either side of the windows. The older guys were pretty much off and and about the whole day. I don't think I really saw them until it was time to eat. They had their bikes, so they kept busy riding around rather than hanging with us boring adults. Of course, there was also a horseshoes tournament. The problem with horseshoes is that if you win, you have to keep playing. I learned that lesson on Father's Day, so I stayed away from the games.

I looked around for the ring ding cake, but I couldn't find it. I'm not sure where it was.... hmmm. So, Liz what was up with the cake situation??
