We had our annual Father's Day celebration on Saturday with almost all the family at our place. All week the weather was predicted to be beautiful. We spent the week getting a nice flat area for the big kiddie pool and getting it all set up. It was still predicted to be nice as of Friday so we were psyched. Well, when Saturday arrived, it was not so good. It was cloudy and actually cool. We were thinking that we might end up building a fire like we did 2 years ago.

It used to be that it always rains on Mother's Day and Father's Day is always nice, but it doesn't seem that way anymore. So, we rethought our plan and made sure the basement was cleaned up instead. The weather held off for a good part of the afternoon, so the kids were able to play ball and play on the new swingset. It was too cold for going in the pool, though. Despite the weather, we all had a good time getting together.
