Ok when you think maple syrup, you probably think Vermont. Well, you should start thinking Hebron. Yah, we got more than cows here, man! Each year our town celebrates the maple guys with a weekend festival. Each maple house opens up its shop for people to take tours. Each house also has a special maple treat. Some have candy, some have cake, and they all have their own brand of syrup. The firehouse opens it's doors for the kids to check out the fire trucks and put on some gear. Local businesses also get into the mix with different things to do, too. It's usually nice weather, but this year it was a little drizzly. Though. There was no way I was going to miss out on getting some fried dough, so we bundled up the kids and roughed it out.
