We broke down and hired someone to do our front sidewalk. We had crushed stone and it was such a pain shoveling it. Everyone kept telling us we could do it ourselves, but we knew that we would never get to it. Plus, we also knew it wouldn't come out anywhere near as nice as a professional job. A neighbor was getting some work done at his house, so a whole bunch of us on the street grouped together for a deal. It seemed like the right time, so we we went for it. We are having the least amount of work done, so it seems that put us at the front of the work list. I guess while they are putting the sidewalk in other guys can be doing the prep work at the other houses. Most of the other houses are also getting landscape work done as well. We already have our foundation plantings done, so we didn't need to do that.
